Fees

An administration fee is charged for the review of research projects, processing of project amendments and extensions and ongoing monitoring of approved studies.

As of July 1 2008 the fee schedule is as follows:

Sponsored Trials (all fees include GST)

1. New protocol $5775

2. Multi-centre Trials

    $5775 for the protocol and one site
    plus $3465 per each extra site up to 5 sites.
    6 or more sites 30% fee reduction.

3. Extension Phase protocol $2887.50

4. Amendments

$577.50 per amendment up to and including 5. Six (6) or more receive a 30% reduction.

5. Sub Studies $1155 depending on the compexity of the study. Fees may be waived if minimal administration is required.

Un-sponsored Trials (as from 1 May 2010)

1. New protocol $2750

2. Extension Phase protocol $1375

3. Amendments $275 per amendment

Please note these fees are for consideration and review of clinical trials and do not represent automatic approval.

In certain circumstances Bellberry Limited may waive un-sponsored trial fees. Fees for clinical ethical advice are by negotiation.
